I wish I had a time machine so I can have my reading week back.  One week was not enough and there's just too much work to do.  *sigh* All I have to say is :  ADD OIL IRENE !!!  YOU CAN DO IT !   AZA AZA FIGHTING ~!

On another note, it's official that sleep deprivation can kill.  Not only did I fall asleep in the library when I was supposed to study for my embryology test, but I fell asleep on the bus when I was going home.  The worst part is........I literally banged my head against the window when I was dozing off on the bus.  Luckily there weren't a lot of people around me, just a few seniors who thankfully didn't pay much attention to me.

KFC popcorn chicken is goooooood.  YUM YUM YUM ! 

Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse Cake --- A surprise birthday cake from my parents.  I feel so blessed to have them by my side.  Whenever I feel depressed or stressed, I can always count on them to brighten up my day.  The birthday cake meant a lot to me.  I remember we went to a restaurant one night and we were given 3 slices of cakes for dessert.  I joked that the piece of cake would be counted as a birthday cake to celebrate my 20th birthday.  Who would have thought that several days later, they bought me my fave cake in the world ??  I almost didn't want to eat it but then who could resist chocolate cake ?   THANK YOU DADDY AND MOMMY !!!

1.  My fingers can bend to a 90 degrees angle.  People are so petrified when I demonstrate my "talent" to them.  They tend to scream, grimace, and say "ewww gross !".  Whatever, lol, I refer to my fingers as "spiderman fingers" coz he bends them 90 degrees when he climbs up walls. 

2.  When I was little, I was really really really afraid of the dark.  I had to put my stuffed animals around me and turn on night lights when I go to bed. 

3.  I hate it when people (esp non-cantonese speaking people) swear in chinese.  It just sounds awful. 

4.  I still love Disney stuff.  I don't think I'll ever grow out of it.  I used to have a Princess Jasmine Barbie kind of thing.  I don't know where I put it but I remember I tried to paint her hair to give her highlights when I was a kid...    

5.  I can't whistle.  No matter how hard I try, I just can't whistle.  Whenever I try, it sounds like the wind is blowing.  It's so embarrassing.

Ok...so now I have to pass this to other people...err...Christine (I know you'll LOVE this, lol), Alice, Jeanette, Wingsee, and Erica.

I don't even think any of them knows I sent this to them.

So another summer just passed by.  A new beginning is waiting for all of us.

I finally saw 3 movies that I've been looking forward to ever since they came out in dvd.  Love Actually is by far my favourite out of the three.  I didn't think I would like it so much because I usually have really high expectations for A-rated movies that turns out to be only average in the end.  And I now see why so many people like to watch Hugh Grant and Colin Firth.  The only thing is...Hugh Grant is too cute to be the PM of Britain...*lol*

Finding Neverland had me bawling my eyes out.  Johnny Depp is too good to be true.  I liked Hitch but after watching the other two movies, I can only say that it was average.  But I love the Q-tip/Start-the-fire/Pizza dance...that was hilarious !

I'm glad that I kept my word and watched Hitch with Laura...we've been waiting to rent it for sooo long...and we finally laughed our heads off at the freaky dance just before she headed back to H20-loo.  Although her dogs scared me to death...Niki (sorry Laura if I got her name wrong !!) kept on barking at me and wagging her tail at the same time.  I literally hid in the corner and screamed while Laura tried with all her might to calm down Niki.  Then Toby was resting by the door where I put my shoe..and I was so scared he'd pee in my shoe because he'd occasionally scratch his ears with his legs...and from where I'm sitting, he really looked like he put his leg up to pee.  But it was cute when the dogs slept.  After the movie ended, I saw Niki laying by the door with her eyes closed and I thought of taking a picture of that, but then the flash light would definitely wake her up and I didn't want her to bark at me again.   

On a second note, I was watching the news last night about the disaster in New Orleans.  I could not believe my eyes when they had a top view of the neighbourhoods, everything was covered by water.  This just serves to remind us that we can't take everything for granted.  We should be thanking our lucky stars that we are safe in our homes with our family.  I hope the best for people who are victims of Hurricane Katrina.  And I also hope that this nightmare will be over for them soon.

I seriously think I'm gonna go blind some time soon !  I'm getting crossed-eyes due to my over studying.  The thing is, I doubt I'll be prepared for my exams next week.  IT'S TRUE !  No matter how much you study, it never seems enough.  All I can think of right now is the cardiac system and digestive system.  And that's only half of what I'm supposed to know for one exam ! *faints*

Nobody said life was easy, but nobody said it was going to be THIS hard either !!  Fine, I'm making a big deal out of nothing.........but.........sigh......does anybody out there feel my pain ? *cries*

ME: (burst out laughing) First of all, Tony is a man's name.  Second of all, he's the PM of Britain...not the black woman who works for Bush (btw, I think her name is Rice...or something along those lines)

Passerby #2: According to history, the coward who ran away during 16th century ?

ME: *wide eyes and jaws dropping* Benedict VI is the Pope ! THE POPE !!!
